Damsons Hanten Quilted Jacket Indigo

Origins: The coat started to be worn, especially by the common people, in the 18th century during the Edo period. The shape of the Hanten bears a resemblance to the haori and is worn by both males and females. With cotton padding for warmth and a tailored collar, it is suitable for everyday wear. It was originally worn over a kimono or other garments and can be styled regardless of gender, which makes it the perfect replacement for a cardigan or jacket.
